In the aftermath of the tragic derailment of the Taroko Express Train 408 in Taiwan, which led to the loss of 50 lives and left over 200 injured, the external asset manager firm Sino Suisse has stepped forward with a generous donation of NT 999,970 to the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Taiwan.
This donation, a figure symbolically chosen for its connotation of longevity and resilience in Chinese culture, is aimed at supporting the victims and their families, as well as bolstering Taiwan’s public health and emergency response systems.
The Ministry has expressed its gratitude to Sino Suisse, acknowledging the significant impact such funds will have on recovery efforts and the enhancement of safety measures to prevent future accidents. Sino Suisse’s swift gesture of solidarity reflects the company’s commitment to social responsibility and global community support.
As Taiwan continues its journey of healing and rebuilding, the contribution from Sino Suisse is not only a substantial aid in the practical sense but also a comforting reminder of the shared compassion that crises often reveal.
